Summer Reading Program Family Night

“SOUNDS OF NATURE"

Free & open to the public.

Join us for a fun-filled night where kids can discover the different sounds that can be created with materials found in nature.
 

Kids can make rain sticks from pine cone scales and paper towel tubes.

Kids can make xylophones from sticks and cardboard.

 

Kids can make shakers using pine cone scales, acorns, hickory nuts, or gravel.


Kids can also learn to identify common bird songs in Connecticut using a computer.
