The Vertical Mile Challenge & Connecticut Century Corps

Would you like to explore the wide variety of high quality local hiking trails?

The Burlington Land Trust makes it easy with over 80 different trail combinations totaling over 325 miles in the Farmington Valley. The BLT has detailed trail maps and descriptions that can be found on your cell phone or printed out. Most are loop hikes that require just one car and take 2-4 hours to complete. The Vertical Mile Challenge and the Connecticut Century Corps are great ways to experience these trails. The Land Trust makes it easy to do these hikes on your own or you can join one of its guided hikes.
