Hike is Full!

First Day Hike:  The Kitchen Hallway
Monday, January 1st
1-4:00 pm

Hike with Alan Perrie and Karen Geitz on a 3.8 mile loop that passes by the Old WPA Camp and Jail.  Continue on the White Blazed bike trail through extensive rock fields and by old rock structures.  Climb through the Devil's Kitchen, a geological wonder with its box ravine and small cloven canyons.

For the hike:

Wear sturdy shoes/boots. 

Bring hiking poles, especially useful for the climbing as there are hills to ascend and descend. 

Carry water and snacks, if you’d like.
 

Pre-registration is appreciated at this link in case of bad weather.

Please leave your “furever” friends at home.

 

Parking and Meeting Spot:
The hike begins at the Stone Road parking lot ( 41.755306, -72.939944 ), 0.3 miles south of the stop sign at George Washington Turnpike.
