Join the Burlington Land Trust on a hike through the Kitchen Hallway.

The Kitchen Hallway is an America 250 Hike as it passes by Native American rock structures and through an area that was settled in the 18^th century by colonial farmers.  This 3.8 mile loop travels on meandering bike trails through pristine forest lands and up through the famous Devil’s Kitchen Ravine on the Connecticut Forests and Parks Blue/Orange hiking trail.  Join Alan Perrie and Karen Geitz on a hike that’s guaranteed to be a serene encounter with nature before the big game begins.

Hike Description:

This 3.8-mile loop climbs hills and descends to flat areas with about 800 feet of vertical.  There are brooks to cross and the ascent through Devil’s Kitchen involves some steeper climbing and stepping from rock to rock.
