Join Karen Geitz from the Burlington Land Trust to walk through beautiful pine forests on Sunday, December 1st at 1:00 pm.  Explore Burlington Falls and learn about the history of three landmarks:  the Hotchkiss Clock Factory, the Fresh Air Camp and the Seventh Day Baptist Cemetery.

Hike Description: 

This in and out hike is 3 miles round trip.  We will hike on the Tunxis Trail to the Covey Rd. and Hotchkiss Rd. intersection.  During this 2.5-hour hike, there is one steep incline and decline, but most of the trail is flat.

What you need for the hike:

Participants will need sturdy shoes.  Bring hiking poles for balance and water. Also, be sure to dress warmly as it is a hike with history presentations along the way.
